Dunluce Cave
Co. Antrim, Northern Ireland, 1995

Dunluce Cave is underneath the rock outcrop which supports Dunluce Castle, erstwhile home of the colourfully named Somhairle Buidhe MacDonnell.

The cave can be reached through a small entrance on the landward side. It provided shelter and an escape route to the sea on numerous occasions, when the castle changed hands during the bloody battles involving the bold Sorley Boy.
