Looking south from Castramont Hill towards Fleet Bay and the Isle of Man. The trees breaking the horizon on the hill at the southern end of Carstramon Wood are on the Doon of Castramont. Although the name suggests that there was once a fortification at this site, the Ordnance Survey map doesn’t show one.
