There is quite a lot of variety in red squirrels' coat colours. This one has a darker tail and ear tufts than most. This photograph was taken with an early deployment of my DIY tilt/shift adapter allowing old 35mm format prime lenses to be used on a small mirrorless camera, with the lens tilted to move the plane of sharpest focus parallel to the squirrel's direction of travel.
